Who is Riemer Roukema?

My answer refers first of all to my work: since 2002 I am professor of New Testament in Kampen, the Netherlands, at the Protestant Theological University. What I did before 2002, can be read in the cv. I give courses in my discipline, I also give lectures on early Christianity for a wider audience, and 10 to 12 times a year I lead Protestant church services. I am married to Lily A. Burggraaff, I sing in a Gregorian choir, the Schola Cantorum Campensis; in autumn and winter I am active in the maintenance of the countryside: with a group of volunteers we pollard willows and poplars, for example. Furthermore I like walking and bicycling.

The aim of this web site is to give access to my books and articles, first by listing the titles, secondly by giving part of the texts in digital form, as far as I am entitled to do so.
